Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a DFG Technical Officer to support the Damp, Mould, and Disrepair Service Team in Tamworth. The role is on-site with travel to sites around Tamworth and offers an on-site, 6-month contract at 30-35 per hour via Umbrella, plus 0.45p mileage.

The duties include producing CAD designs for adaptations, managing projects from survey to completion, and liaising with clients, Occupational Therapists, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Significant demonstrable surveying experience in housing or local authority settings.
• Experience with contract administration and project monitoring is desirable.
• Ability to manage high-volume caseload with accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and motivated DFG Technical Officer to join a leading Property Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide operational support to the Damp, Mould, and Disrepair Service Team

DFG Technical Officer

DFG Technical Officer duties:

• Manage projects from survey through to practical completion.

• Liaise with customers, Occupational Therapists, and contractors.
• Undertake contract administration and project monitoring.
• Support procurement, tendering and contractor management activities where required.

To succeed as the DFG Technical Officer, you need:

• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload whilst maintaining quality and compliance.
• Knowledge of Schedule of Rates and adaptation costing.
• Significant demonstrable experience in a surveying role in a housing association, private practice, local authority, or similar
• Contract administration and project management experience are highly desirable.
