Job summary

SOLOS Consultants Ltd in London is recruiting an experienced Private Sector Housing Officer for Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) on a 3-month contract. The role focuses on DFG administration, property inspections and grant work to support vulnerable residents.

You will assess applications, interpret OT recommendations, inspect homes and prepare schedules of works and reports to enable adaptations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Disabled Facilities Grant administration.
• Experience with property inspections and housing conditions.
• Experience in grants work related to adaptations.
• Passionate about helping vulnerable residents remain independent at home.

Responsibilities

• Assess and process Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) and Minor Adaptations applications.
• Interpret Occupational Therapist recommendations and determine appropriate property adaptations.
• Undertake residential property inspections and assess housing conditions.
• Prepare schedules of works, specifications and reports for adaptation and improvement works.
