Job summary

Envitia is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate secure cloud-native platforms that support government and client missions. You will implement secure CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure and ensure high availability across environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and IaC tools, with on-site work in London, Cheltenham, or Manchester after clearance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, ECS or similar container platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and security/governance in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC and automation tools.
• Support and optimise AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS and ECS platforms.
• Implement observability, monitoring and logging to improve performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, testers and architects to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across environments.
• Contribute to cloud migration initiatives and platform improvements.
• Share tooling and automation patterns across teams.
