Job summary

Jain Global is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join its Global Cloud and DevOps team in London. The role focuses on building and operating automation, platforms, and tooling for reliable, secure deployments across AWS, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.

You will work with global cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams to evolve the cloud operating model and contribute to adjacent foundation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, platform or cloud engineering roles.
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Proficient in Terraform and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation.
• Knowledge of monitoring/observability platforms and data collection.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, and compliance controls.
• Experience with cloud networking and hybrid connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable IaC modules and automation using Terraform.
• Develop self-service capabilities for provisioning AWS resources.
• Operate AWS services including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Manage and improve Kubernetes platforms, GitOps workflows, Helm charts, and onboarding.
• Develop monitoring and observability with Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog and CloudWatch.
• Support cloud networking and connectivity across AWS accounts, regions, and on-prem environments.
• Embed security controls and governance into platform tooling.
• Collaborate with global teams across locations.
