Job description

easyJet holidays, launched in 2019, is the UK’s fastest-growing tour operator, providing brilliant holidays at unbeatable prices across more than 100 destinations in Europe. By leveraging easyJet’s extensive flight network, over 5000 handpicked hotels, and cutting-edge technology, we have quickly become the lowest cost travel business in the UK. Our commitment to sustainability and community impact has not only earned us awards but also a place among the Sunday Times Best Places to Work for two consecutive years.

The DevOps team plays a crucial role in supporting our developers and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our entire operation. As part of this tight-knit, fast-moving team, you will handle significant pressure and contribute directly to our mission of leading the holiday industry.

You'll play a key role in bridging the gap between development and operations, simplifying the processes that bring our innovative ideas to life. Your role will focus on automating our processes, enhancing existing automation, and ensuring the robustness of our infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

You'll automate and streamline our software delivery process using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. Your role includes maintaining system health, ensuring optimal performance and availability, and proactively resolving issues. Collaboration with both development and operations teams will be key to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What you'll bring to the team
Demonstrable experience with DevOps and cloud technologies, excellent multitasking, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and strong technical documentation abilities. Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, software-automation production systems like TeamCity and GitHub Actions, and code deployment tools like Octopus Deploy is essential. You should also have expertise in Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and knowledge of logging and monitoring with systems like ELK. Experience with PowerShell scripting, AWS, automated testing techniques, and a working knowledge of databases and SQL are also required.

What we can offer you
We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, significant discounts on flights and holidays, opportunities for professional growth and development, and an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
