Job summary

Babcock is inviting applicants to join the Chemical and Process Engineering Graduate Programme at Devonport, Plymouth. The two-year on-site programme offers placements across Design Authority, Plant Management, Safety Case and Operational Support, with CAD work, reports, and lifecycle engineering tasks to develop skills for a future permanent role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical/Process Engineering or related field.
• Security clearances BPSS, SC and NNPII required for eligibility.
• UK national status may be required for the programme.

Responsibilities

• Support lifecycle stages from concept through to decommissioning of nuclear/process systems.
• Develop and modify system designs and CAD drawings/models.
• Perform technical analyses and produce detailed technical reports.
• Conduct inspections and validations, including onboard submarines.
