NFU Mutual is seeking a Development Underwriter to collaborate with our General Insurance Sales Force and Service Centre, driving new business and gross written premium across mid-market property and liability. The role is homebased with travel 2–3 days per week in the North West, building pipelines and underwriting a personal caseload with our Agency Network and Sales teams.

You will be a technical leader, delivering underwriting strategy, risk appetite and first‑class service.

Formación

• Property & Liability Commercial underwriting experience within the mid-market space.
• Experience of successfully building and managing relationships.
• Confident communicator with experience of leading and influencing discussions and decisions with integrity.
• Development Underwriting experience/Proven business development experience (desirable).
• Dip CII or equivalent qualification (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite new mid-market business with property and liability exposure.
• Develop new business pipelines with NFU Mutual Agency Network.
• Attend client visits and manage personal caseload.
• Provide technical underwriting direction and risk appetite.
• Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to identify opportunities.
