Job summary

ProFound in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Development Underwriter to strengthen its commercial underwriting capability and drive new business across the Scottish market. You will build broker relationships, underwrite profitable commercial risks, and work autonomously with revenue growth in mind.

The role focuses on growing a profitable portfolio, forming strong broker partnerships, and contributing to regional growth strategies while collaborating with underwriting, sales, and leadership

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Commercial Underwriter or Development Underwriter.
• Strong broker relationship-building and commercial acumen.
• Ability to assess, price, and negotiate risks confidently.
• Knowledge of the Scottish commercial insurance market.
