City Health Care Partnership CIC is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for a development role in Hull. You will work with an adults’ community caseload to assess, plan and deliver evidence-based care, with a focus on communication and swallowing needs.

Training and development support will help you build specialist skills through supervision, reflective practice and multidisciplinary collaboration. A commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care is essential.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification with current professional registration and membership.
• Knowledge of communication disorders and relevant assessment and treatment approaches.
• Clear communication, sound clinical judgement and effective workload management.
• Experience of working with patients and across professional teams.
• Commitment to learning, reflective practice and high-quality, compassionate care.

Responsabilités

• Assess communication and swallowing needs, then agree person-centred care plans
• Manage and prioritise a specialist caseload, including triaging referrals
• Provide advice, training and support to patients, families and professionals
• Maintain clear clinical records and use information securely
• Support junior colleagues, students, audits and service improvement
