Job summary

Torus Developments in Warrington is seeking a Development Officer on a 12 month fixed-term contract to identify, bring forward and deliver new development opportunities across the North West. You will support sourcing, appraisals, budgets and ensure schemes meet Homes England requirements and are viable and well managed.

This agile role is based at Bank Park House, Warrington with a minimum two days in the office.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering development schemes from inception to completion.
• Proven ability to source development opportunities and work with partners.
• Strong project management and organisational skills with changing priorities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• High IT literacy and adaptability to new systems.
• Experience with financial and governance compliance within development.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead delivery of development schemes from inception to completion.
• Assist identifying and bringing forward new development opportunities.
• Prepare and support financial appraisals, budgets and scheme information for approval.
• Monitor project performance, budgets and delivery against programmes and targets.
• Collaborate with Finance for accurate financial information and budget management.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, contractors and partners.
• Ensure compliance with development processes and Homes England requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and value for money.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and manage workload.
