You will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and local planning authorities to help drive forward a significant development pipeline across the North West. The role requires a strong understanding of the UK planning system and residential development processes, along with excellent coordination and communication skills.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Coordinating planning consultants and technical specialists to ensure timely and high‑quality submissions
  • Managing the preparation of supporting planning documentation, including planning statements, design and access statements and technical reports
  • Liaising with local planning authorities, statutory consultees and key stakeholders to progress applications
  • Tracking planning applications through the determination process and responding to queries or requests for information
  • Supporting site appraisals and feasibility assessments, including review of planning policy and site constraints
  • Assisting with the discharge of planning conditions and ensuring compliance on live development projects
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement and attending planning or project meetings where required
  • Monitoring changes in planning policy and legislation and identifying potential impacts on development schemes
What We Are Looking For

  • Understanding of residential development and site appraisal processes
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and external consultant teams
  • Strong written communication skills, including preparation of planning reports and documentation
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
