Job summary

• Member of the RTPI with excellent knowledge and experience of planning and development control.
• Computer literate and comfortable with development control IT systems; able to manage people and budgets; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective delivery and ongoing improvement of the development management service, together with planning enforcement; personally handle more complex planning applications.
• Work with the Head of Planning and Transportation to ensure the development management service is efficient, proactive and customer focussed; engage with residents, applicants and elected members.
