Job summary

• Experience managing a diverse and complex caseload of development proposals and appeals.
• Thorough understanding of the planning system and relevant legislation.
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess planning proposals and appeals within the Development Management team.
• Provide professional planning advice and negotiate positive outcomes with applicants and developers.
• Work closely with applicants, developers, elected members and other stakeholders to secure high-quality development.
• Deliver timely, well-reasoned decisions and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
