Job summary

Gallagher are seeking Sales Executives to join our SME Insurance team in Brierley Hill. You will help small to medium businesses find insurance policies, speak with customers who have booked discussions, and build rapport to identify the right coverage.

Full training and support are provided, with a clear path for progression. We offer permanent roles with a salary range of £22,000–£28,000 plus an uncapped bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a sales-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
• Strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to perform basic math tasks and use IT systems.
• Comfortable speaking to customers on the phone and guiding them to the right solution.

Overview

Gallagher are looking for new Sales Executives to join our expanding team in the Brierley Hill office.

How You'll Make An Impact

Things you need to know:

• These are permanent roles
• We are based in Brierley Hill with thousands of free parking spaces for easy access
• Our working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
• Annual salary is between £22,000 - £28,000 based on experience, plus an uncapped bonus scheme
• We have a 6-month ongoing structured training programme and a dedicated training team to ensure you have all the support you need to be successful

A bit about the job:

In this role you will be helping a variety of small to medium size businesses find insurance policies that meet their needs. You will speak to new and existing customers who have made an appointment to discuss their insurance (there is no cold calling) and use your communication skills to build a rapport, gather the right information to understand their needs and help them find the right insurance policy, supporting them and providing excellent customer service along the way.

You might need to balance multiple tasks at the same time, utilise a range of systems and will work in a dynamic, friendly, agile team.

About You

• 1 years’ experience in a sales driven environment is required
• Previous call centre experience is not necessary. We provide full training which covers everything from our product range to our phone system
• We are looking for candidates who are passionate about providing outstanding customer service, this means that you put the customer first and take pride in the quality of your work
• Qualifications are not essential, but you will be able to perform basic maths tasks, use IT systems and have a keen eye for detail
• You will enjoy speaking to people and will use your outstanding communication skills to speak openly and expertly on the phone to customers. You will be able to build strong rapport and take a genuine interest in their needs
• Great team working skills, we work together to help our customers, share ideas to help each other and have lots of fun working together!
