Job summary

Outside Edge Theatre Company is seeking a Development Coordinator to support and grow fundraising activities, with a focus on trusts, foundations, individual giving and corporate partnerships, reporting to the Artistic Director/CEO.

You will manage daily fundraising operations, coordinate donor communications, and contribute to creating campaigns, events and stewardship activities. Training will be provided to develop in this newly created role as the team expands its fundraising ambitions.

Qualifications

• Interest in fundraising or supporter engagement gained through work or volunteering.
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
• Experience in administrative, fundraising, customer service or similar roles.
• Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with diverse audiences including public speaking.
• CRM experience is desirable (Salesforce).
• Data analysis to identify donor trends and opportunities.
• Collaborative and positive team player with a can-do approach.
• Willingness to follow Outside Edge’s Vulnerable Adults Protection Policy and to support marketing activity.

Responsibilities

• Grant management: write applications to trusts and foundations and manage deadlines.
• Develop and implement individual, major giving and donor stewardship activities.
• Support corporate and challenge events planning and donor engagement.
• Oversee fundraising communications, donor newsletters and website content; ensure GDPR compliance and accurate records.
