Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead a portfolio of development and investment projects across the UK, with initial base in North Yorkshire and regular travel. You will own projects from acquisition through to completion, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure schemes are delivered on time and within budget, aligned with strategic objectives.

This role requires a commercially minded professional with a proven delivery track record, strong stakeholder

Qualifications

Proven track record delivering property or construction projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of the development lifecycle (planning, design, procurement, construction).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Own development projects from acquisition through to practical completion and handover.
Manage development process to meet programme, budget and objectives.
Coordinate consultants, contractors, and professional teams.
Lead project meetings and maintain stakeholder communication.
Monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Oversee planning, design development, procurement and delivery.
Review budgets, appraisals, cashflow forecasts and development programmes.
Support due diligence on prospective acquisitions.
