Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in London seeks Development Infrastructure engineers at all levels to support national UK projects.

You will design and draw for construction, produce reports for masterplanning, and contribute to planning applications while mentoring early career professionals. You will collaborate with clients, manage concepts and strategies through to construction drawings, and work across multiple projects with local and national stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A civil engineering degree and working towards Chartered status.
• Experience in highway and highway drainage design.
• Postgraduate experience in civil engineering environment.
• Experience producing masterplans, site appraisals, planning reports, design calculations and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of highway design, drainage principles and water/surface drainage design.
• Experience using Windes drainage software and PDS or Civils 3D modelling.
• Familiarity with Highways England and Local Authority design guidance.
• Ability to collaborate with senior and junior staff to deliver designs and reports.
• Experience supporting junior team members and ensuring technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs and drawings for construction projects and deliver technical reports for masterplanning and planning applications.
• Mentor and manage junior professionals to ensure technical excellence.
• Lead day-to-day project management support for concept studies and strategies through to planning applications or construction drawings.
• Work on multiple projects and liaise with clients at local and national levels.
