Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Engineer to support our regional Development Team in Cambridge, focusing on civil engineering for development infrastructure. You will produce designs and drawings for masterplanning to support planning applications, while managing multiple projects with a mix of internal and client accounts.

You will be supported by a team of experienced professionals and be involved in client engagement, design team liaison and project management to

Qualifications

• Knowledge of design codes such as Water UK Sewerage Sector Guidance, Design Manual for Roads & Bridges, Manual for Streets, Local Authority Design Guidance.

Responsibilities

• Produce infrastructure masterplans, site appraisals, technical reports and construction drawings.
• Support production of designs and drawings for construction projects and masterplanning in planning applications.
• Engage with multiple projects and client accounts, reporting to a senior member of the Development Team.
• Ensure projects delivered to budget, programme, technical standards and statutory requirements.
• Engage with clients, co-professionals and design teams for outline and detailed approvals.
