Glyndŵr University in Wales seeks a skilled Developer and Support Analyst to join the Information Services team. You will develop, support and enhance university applications, databases and integrations to deliver reliable digital services.

You will analyse requirements, design technical solutions, support critical systems and contribute to projects that improve processes and user experience. Strong SQL/C#/PHP skills and experience with Oracle and web tech are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing, supporting and maintaining applications, databases and integrations.
  • Strong skills in MS SQL, C#, PHP and web technologies.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience testing, deploying and supporting software developments and enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, maintaining and supporting applications, databases and system integrations.
  • Designing and implementing solutions using technologies such as MS SQL, C#, PHP, Entity Framework, Oracle and web technologies.
  • Working with stakeholders to identify requirements and deliver system improvements.
  • Testing, deploying and supporting software developments and enhancements.
  • Providing technical support, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Supporting database administration, security, resilience and data integrity.
  • Maintaining technical documentation and contributing to digital transformation projects.
