Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a proactive software engineer to guide the adoption of AI coding tools across engineering teams in the United Kingdom. You will evaluate tools, present value, and run enablement sessions to maximise safe, productive use.

You'll collaborate with product, security, and delivery teams to integrate AI-assisted workflows, maintain governance, and mentor engineers through demos and hands-on workshops.

Qualifications

• Experience with software development and modern workflows (PRs, CI/CD, tooling).
• Practical experience with AI coding tools (Copilot, Codex, Cursor, Claude Code).
• Ability to evaluate where AI tools add value and where they introduce risk.
• Familiarity with enterprise SDLC or regulated environments is a plus.
• Comfort leading demos, workshops, and enablement sessions for varied audiences.
