Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom seeks a senior AI Architect to lead the technical implementation of the organisation's AI strategy, design scalable ML solutions, and act as technical authority on AI projects. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Agile teams to embed AI capabilities, and establish MLOps and CI/CD pipelines.

You will ensure governance, security and compliance across initiatives while guiding architecture decisions and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering AI/ML/generative AI solutions.
Strong software engineering background.
Experience with cloud AI services (Azure, AWS, Google Vertex) and Python.
Experience with APIs, microservices and cloud-native architectures.
Security clearance (SC) required before commencing employment.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field.
Ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical implementation of the organisation's AI strategy.
Design scalable AI and machine learning solutions.
Define architectures for Generative AI, ML and Intelligent Automation platforms.
Establish CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices.
Mentor and develop engineers, architects and technical specialists.
Collaborate with Agile delivery teams to embed AI capabilities into products and services.
Lead proof-of-concepts, pilots and production implementations.
Ensure solutions align with security, governance and compliance requirements.
