Job summary

Martin-Baker Aircraft Company Ltd in Denham is seeking an Inspector in the Detail Inspection department to perform component testing and inspection, ensuring QA compliance and accurate documentation.

You will generate inspection records, operate CNC contour tracers and metrology tools, and interpret drawings and procedures to ensure traceability and safety. This onsite role offers a chance to contribute to life-saving equipment and develop expertise in precision aerospace inspection.

Qualifications

• Relevant inspection experience with inspection tools and equipment.
• Numeracy and geometry skills.
• Broad ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using CMM or equivalent measuring aids desirable.
• General manufacturing/engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain inspection documentation per QA policies.
• Create, test, validate and maintain inspection programs for CNC contour tracers and metrology systems.
• Handle materials to comply with safety regulations and instructions.
• Accurately interpret drawings and procedures to apply ADRs and finishes.
