Martin-Baker Aircraft Company Ltd in Chalgrove is seeking a Pyro Inspector in our inspection department to verify parts and ensure efficient inspection activities that support lifesaving ejector seats.
After probation, the role shifts to 4 on/4 off, 7am–16:30 onsite. You will perform testing/inspection/booking of Pyrotechnic components and contribute to quality assurance and process improvements.
As a Pyro Inspector working in our Chalgrove inspection department, you’ll undertake a variety of product verification of parts and components and ensuring that all Inspection activities are delivered efficiently to contribute to the success of ejector seats produced onsite, to ultimately save lives. After the probationary period this role will revert to a shift pattern of 4 on and 4 off from 7am to 16.30pm. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to products that save lives, whilst developing your expertise in inspection.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work collaboratively as part of an inspection team to produce lifesaving equipment.
You’ll be involved in activities such as carrying out testing / inspection / booking in of Pyrotechnic components using a variety of processes and techniques.
This is an onsite role based at our Chalgrove, Oxfordshiresite.
