Job summary

C&C Meats, based in Eye near Diss, is hiring a Despatch Operative to join our team. The role covers loading bay operations, picking and packing goods, scanning pallets, stock rotation, and occasional heavy lifting of carcasses. A UK driving licence is essential.

The position runs Monday to Friday 08:00–18:00 with starting pay of £13.64 per hour and progression to £14.64 with a shunter licence. We offer 28 days of holiday including bank holidays, career development opportunities, and access to

• Experience in loading bay or warehouse; training provided.
• Must have full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack products.
• Scan pallets in and out.
• Stock rotation.
• Load/unload; heavy lifting of carcasses.
• Drive Shunter Truck (training provided).
• Perform other duties as required.
