Pertemps is seeking a Despatch Operative in Gloucester to prepare products for dispatch, load correct vehicles and perform quality checks. The role is physical with regular lifting and a shift from 13:00 to 21:00, Monday to Friday, with overtime potential.

Immediate starts available for suitable candidates. The position involves working within a manufacturing environment on a temporary to permanent basis, with weekly pay options and a supportive local consultant.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/despatch or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good reading and checking skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing products for dispatch.
• Ensuring accessories and components are loaded onto the correct vehicles.
• Checking products against paperwork and dispatch notes.
• Carrying out quality and quantity checks according to written/verbal instructions.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Working efficiently to meet dispatch deadlines.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift.

Despatch Operative needed in Gloucester, Paying £13.45ph, with overtime available. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 13:00 - 21:00. Immediate starts available for the right candidates.

We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative to join our manufacturing client based in Gloucester on a temporary to permanent basis.This role involves preparing products for dispatch, ensuring accessories and components are checked and loaded onto the correct vehicles, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency throughout the shift. This is a physical role involving regular manual handling and heavy lifting.

• Checking products against paperwork and dispatch notes

Skills & Requirements:

• Positive, hardworking attitude
• PPT or Counterbalance Forklift experience would be advantageous but is not essential
