Job summary

Avara Foods hereford site is seeking a Despatch Operative to support the smooth transition of products from production to outbound deliveries. Full training will be provided, no previous experience required, and you will work on 38.5 hours per week with 07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00 shifts.

You will handle loading, pallet handling and basic movement tasks, with safety training and ongoing development. The role offers a secure contract, weekly pay, and opportunities for overtime at our Hereford

Qualifications

What candidates must have: good communication and numeracy.
NVQ Level 2 in Food Manufacturing is desirable.
Previous experience in food manufacturing is desirable.
Basic food hygiene, truck license or manual handling training desirable.
Strong organisation and time management; full training provided.

Responsibilities

Operate pedestrian pallet trucks and scan products for correct delivery.
Load and unload vehicles using manual handling equipment.
Ensure use of safety equipment and adherence to training and food safety guidance.
Support smooth transition of product from production to outloads.
