We are looking for a Warehouse Despatch Operator - Nights to join our team at Ultrapharm bakery in Pontypool, part of the Finsbury Food Group, to support our safe, high-quality, and efficient food production operation.
Ultrapharm is a dedicated gluten‑free bakery, specialising exclusively in gluten‑free products since 1993. Our craft-led approach creates premium products with the flavour and texture of traditional bakery goods, supplying major UK retailers including Marks & Spencer and Waitrose.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll play a key part in making sure our products leave site safely, accurately and on time. You’ll work across picking, packing and despatch, using warehouse equipment and technology to prepare customer orders and maintain accurate stock records.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and takes pride in getting things right. You’ll need a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence, good attention to detail and the ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
As a Warehouse Despatch Operator, you’ll be responsible for accurately picking, packing and preparing customer orders for despatch, making sure the right products, quantities, labels and paperwork are ready to go.
You’ll safely load and unload vehicles using warehouse equipment, including a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, and use handheld scanners and our Warehouse Management System (M3) to process orders and keep stock records accurate.
You’ll help maintain stock accuracy by supporting stock counts, audits and inventory activities, while ensuring products are stored correctly and warehouse locations are kept organised.
Working as part of the night shift team, you’ll manage your workload to meet daily targets and customer requirements, working efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.
You’ll also take pride in keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised, following our clean-as-you-go approach and all relevant food safety, hygiene, GMP and Health & Safety requirements.
