Job summary

Ultrapharm, part of the Finsbury Food Group, is recruiting a Warehouse Despatch Operator on nights at our Pontypool site. You will pick, pack and despatch orders, load/unload using a Counterbalance forklift and use M3 to keep stock records.

This role requires accuracy, organisation and adherence to food safety standards. You will work the 7:00pm–7:00am night shift, on-site, with opportunities to develop skills in stock control and warehouse operations within a growing gluten-free bakery

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
• Experience in a warehouse, despatch, logistics, goods-in or goods-out environment is desirable.
• Comfortable using warehouse management systems, handheld scanners and other IT systems.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Able to work independently, prioritise your workload and meet deadlines.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills and able to work well as part of a team.
• Committed to high standards of Health & Safety, food safety, quality and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking, packing and preparing customer orders for despatch with correct labels and paperwork.
• Safely load and unload vehicles using warehouse equipment including a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Use scanners and the M3 system to process orders and keep stock records accurate.
• Assist with stock counts, audits and inventory activities to maintain accuracy.
• Work night shift to meet daily targets while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Keep warehouse clean, tidy and organised following clean-as-you-go practices.
