Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics or distribution operations.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound operational decisions.
• Able to lead and motivate operational teams on shift.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to use reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Managing transport and distribution operations within the PSC.
• Maintaining safe, compliant and legal operations.
• Managing despatch bays and vehicle movements.
• Ensuring planned network departures and Move-to-Time compliance.
• Maximising vehicle utilisation and load fill.
• Managing contractor driver attendance and escalation of no-shows.
• Monitoring operational performance and implementing corrective actions.
• Leading and motivating operational teams on shift.
• Managing risks, contingencies and service failures.
• Supporting delivery of the operational work plan and Peak service commitments.
