Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd. is recruiting Despatch Control Managers to support Royal Mail’s peak operation at Atherstone Parcel Sort Centre. Roles report to the PSC Optimisation Manager and involve leading transport and distribution operations, ensuring safety and compliance, and maximizing vehicle utilisation.

Shifts include Early, Late, Night; 24-hour coverage with potential 12-hour patterns. Bank Holiday pay applies, typical hourly rates from £23 to £27 (Night) and £33 on holidays.

• Lead despatch bays and manage vehicle movements.
• Ensure planned network departures and Move-to-Time compliance.
• Maximise vehicle utilisation and load fill.
• Manage contractor driver attendance and escalate no-shows.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and motivate shift teams.
• Manage risks, contingencies and service failures.
• Support delivery of peak work plan and service commitments.
