Job summary

Culina is seeking an experienced Despatch Clerk to join our Transport Logistics division in the UK. You will despatch drivers, handle paperwork, and ensure accurate trailer numbering within our tracking system. Collaborate with the transport team to maintain smooth operations and uphold site procedures.

Ideal candidates will bring transport/logistics experience, strong organisation, and the ability to work calmly under pressure while maintaining precise records and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a transport, logistics or administrative role is advantageous.
• Good understanding of transport operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Despatch drivers efficiently with all relevant paperwork.
• Complete customer and KPI reporting as required.
• Input correct trailer numbers into the internal tracking system.
• Monitor the service board to ensure correct week numbers on trailers.
• Liaise with drivers on gate procedures before entering site.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately despatching drivers with all relevant paperwork
• Completing customer and Stobart KPIs where required
• Making sure the correct trailer numbers are inputted into the internal tracking system
• Monitoring the service board to make sure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers
• Liaising with drivers on the gate communication system to make them aware of site procedures before entering site, when required. Requirements

• Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or administrative role would be advantageous.
• A good understanding of transport operations and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• A flexible and professional approach, with excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and compliance standards.
