Job summary

SF Partners in the United Kingdom is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support across desktop and mobile devices at multiple sites. The role goes beyond basic first-line support, involving security, device management, and application deployment within a cohesive IT team.

The successful candidate will have practical Defender experience, familiarity with Intune and packaging, and a proactive approach to resolving issues while contributing to IT security improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender and vulnerability remediation.
• Strong desktop support across laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office 365.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Understand IT security and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across desktop and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS and connectivity issues.
• Configure, deploy and install hardware and software.
• Use Microsoft Defender to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Support IT security and respond to security issues.
• Support device management and deployment through Microsoft Intune.
• Package and deploy applications.
• Support IT projects across the desktop and wider IT environment.
• Test and evaluate new hardware and software.
• Provide users with guidance on systems and applications.
• Work with third-party suppliers to resolve issues.
• Support users across multiple locations when required.
