Polypipe Building Products in Doncaster is seeking a Desk Based Account Manager to manage a portfolio of builders’ merchant accounts from the Doncaster Neale Road site. You will drive sales, coordinate promotions, and build long-term relationships with key contacts while collaborating with field sales, marketing and internal teams.

The role requires strong data analysis, negotiation, and excellent communication skills, with experience in CRM tools and MS Office.

Qualificações

• Experience in sales or account management in construction/building supplies or B2B environments.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office applications; data-driven with ability to analyse figures.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a structured call plan for builders’ merchant accounts to support growth.
• Drive sales and revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and promotions.
• Build long-term customer relationships and act as brand ambassador.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns with customers and monitor promotion uptake.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and report on performance and feedback.
