Job summary

Technical Partners is seeking an experienced Façade Designer to join the team in Watford. The role focuses on cladding and rainscreen systems within a growing façade division. It offers a permanent position and exposure to a variety of technically interesting projects.

The successful candidate will produce detailed drawings, interpret architectural plans, and collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders from design through delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience designing cladding / rainscreen systems.
• Strong understanding of façade construction and detailing.
• Experience using CAD/design software.
• Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience within the façade, cladding or building envelope sector.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed façade and cladding drawings.
• Designing and detailing rainscreen cladding systems.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Reviewing technical information and ensuring designs meet project requirements.
• Producing accurate drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Our client is looking for an experienced Façade Designer to join their growing team, with a strong focus on cladding and rainscreen systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a designer with proven experience within the façade industry who is looking to join an established business and work on a range of technically interesting projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing detailed façade and cladding drawings
• Designing and detailing rainscreen cladding systems
• Working closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders
