Job summary

Our client in Watford is looking for an experienced Façade Designer to join their growing team, focusing on cladding and rainscreen systems. The role offers £40,000–£50,000 salary and a permanent position.

You will produce detailed façade drawings, design rainscreen systems and work with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to meet project requirements across the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Previous experience designing cladding/rainscreen systems is essential.
• Strong understanding of façade construction and detailing.
• Experience using relevant CAD/design software.
• Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings.

This is an excellent opportunity for a designer with proven experience within the façade industry who is looking to join an established business and work on a range of technically interesting projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing detailed façade and cladding drawings


• Designing and detailing rainscreen cladding systems


• Working closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders


• Reviewing technical information and ensuring designs meet project requirements


• Producing accurate drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
