Job summary

Witherslack Group invites applications for a Designated Safeguarding Lead at Turner Court, Bristol. You will be part of the leadership team and work to safeguard children, liaising with agencies, parents and staff to ensure wellbeing, safeguarding and protection needs are met.

The role requires at least 3 years' experience in a DSL post, a strong CPD portfolio in safeguarding, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• CPD portfolio related to safeguarding and child protection.
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem resolution skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead safeguarding within the school and liaise with statutory and non-statutory agencies, parents, carers and staff.
• Provide confidential advice, guidance and expertise on safeguarding and wellbeing.
• Support the safeguarding team to meet pupils' needs and ensure safety.
