Designate Senior Sous Chef | Birmingham West | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

About You:

  • You focus on creating a caring and listening environment, celebrating successes, nurturing talent, and role modelling a coaching culture.
  • You are dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience, ensuring dishes meet high standards and your team is well-equipped.
  • You ensure health, safety, and food standards are maintained, understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively spot opportunities.
  • You aim to build a coaching culture, working with your head chef on recruitment and development, fostering growth within your team.
  • You are a forward-thinking problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

What We Look For:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with genuine conversations that ensure your team feels supported.
  • Experience maintaining high standards in food, health, safety, and financial performance.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
