Halfords Careers in the UK is recruiting a Designate Centre Manager to support local Autocentre sites within a reasonable travel time, while leading in-centre teams and preparing to run your own allocated centre in the future.

You will drive a culture of professional service, focus on customer journeys, safety, and commercial excellence, with opportunities for progression and an uncapped bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Fantastic leadership and team management within automotive or similar industry.
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Strong financial acumen with experience of managing P&L and optimizing profit
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate in-centre teams to deliver service excellence.
• Drive customer satisfaction and bring the customer journey to life.
• Coach and develop staff with on-the-job training.
• Manage KPIs and maximise centre profitability.
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance across centres.
• Support management with business growth and centre performance.
