A secondary school in Hampshire is seeking a dedicated Design Technology Technician for a part-time role starting in September 2025. The technician will support practical lessons, maintain workshop safety, and enhance the quality of teaching in the DT department. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic about Design Technology, skilled in using relevant tools and equipment, and knowledgeable about workshop safety standards. Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Hampshire-based secondary school to appoint a dedicated and practicalDesign Technology Technicianfor aSeptember 2025start. This is apart-timerole working2 days per weekduringterm time only. Working hours are8.00am – 4.00pmon agreed days.
About the Role:
In this varied and rewarding position, you will work closely with the Curriculum Leader of Vocational Learning and teaching staff to support practical lessons and maintain a safe, well-equipped workshop. From preparing materials to maintaining machinery and supporting CAD/CAM systems, your input will directly enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the DT department.
