We are seeking to recruit a part-time Design & Technology Technician at Carshalton High School for Girls.
The Role
This is a hands-on role supporting the Design & Technology Department with technical knowledge, assistance in practical lessons, department administration, maintenance, and stock control.
Hours of Work
This role is part-time, working 25 hours a week, term time only plus INSET days. Ideally, the successful candidate will start work at 8.15am and work one long day until 4pm or 4.30pm, and three shorter days with one day off a week. Meal breaks are unpaid. Preferences for working hours will be discussed at interview.

Our School
Carshalton High School for Girls, a member of the Girls' Learning Trust, is a high-achieving school in the suburbs of south London. Confirmed as “Good” by Ofsted in January 2023, we achieved our best exam results to date in Summer 2024.

The school is a short walk from Carshalton station, with London Victoria approximately a 30-minute journey by Southern trains, and London St Pancras approximately 45 minutes by Thameslink. The school is also accessible by car and bus from south London and Surrey.
