Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge in Design Technology with ability to deliver engaging lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and high expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and carers.
• Commitment to raising achievement and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning, using progress data to support achievement.
• Create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment with high behaviour expectations.
• Monitor and track progress, providing timely feedback and raising attainment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and carers to support student success.
