Job summary

Rawmarsh Community School, part of Wickersley Partnership Trust, is seeking a Teacher of Design and Technology. You will plan, deliver and assess lessons that bring the National Curriculum to life, helping every pupil make exceptional progress.

This is a temporary maternity cover full time role (32.5 hours per week) requiring QTS. We offer a supportive, collaborative environment within a thriving South Yorkshire trust with strong safeguarding and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum and bring it to life.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan and prepare engaging, industry-relevant courses and lessons
• Adaptive Teaching: Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to the specific educational needs of the pupils assigned to you.
• Assessment & Feedback: Set and mark work, providing constructive feedback to help pupils improve.
• Progress Monitoring: Assess, record, and report on pupil development and attainment in line with school policy.
• Mentoring: Collaborate with pupils and parents to set ambitious, achievable short-term learning targets.
