Job summary

OFG Education is seeking a Design Technology Teacher for Red Kite School in Buckinghamshire. The post is permanent, term-time only until school holidays, with a January 2027 start. The role focuses on practical, hands-on DT learning to empower students aged 11–18 with SEMH needs.

QTS or equivalent is required, and you will join a supportive team dedicated to overcoming barriers to learning and fostering confidence and resilience in pupils.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands-on Design Technology lessons that inspire creativity and participation.
• Support students to develop practical skills through designing, making, evaluating and problem-solving.
• Adapt learning to meet individual needs, strengths and interests.
• Build positive relationships that encourage risk-taking and resilience.
• Monitor progress, celebrate achievements and help students reach meaningful goals.
• Contribute to personalised learning plans and collaborate with staff and external partners.
