Job description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join our forward-thinking team in Rochdale this September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator with a love for creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning.

About the position:

• Teach Design and Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

• Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across areas such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, or engineering (depending on your specialism).

• Inspire students to think creatively and critically about design processes, materials, and real-world applications.

• Contribute to curriculum development, departmental projects, and extra-curricular activitiess

We're looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Has experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary school setting.

• Is confident using a range of tools, equipment, and CAD/CAM software.

• Is passionate about preparing students for future STEM-related careers.

• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
