A thriving secondary school in Levenshulme is looking to appoint a Design Technology Teacher to join their high-achieving department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced DT specialists.
Teach a range of DT subjects including Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, and Engineering at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and technical skills
Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop environment, supporting students in the use of tools and equipment
Contribute to the development of an exciting DT curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities such as clubs, competitions, and exhibitions
Work closely with a supportive team of specialists and technicians
Location: Levenshulme, South Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, permanent
