Design Technology Teacher – Secondary School – Levenshulme – September 2025 Start – Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)

Are you a creative and skilled Design Technology Teacher with a passion for hands-on learning and innovation? Are you ready to inspire the next generation of designers, engineers, and makers?

A thriving secondary school in Levenshulme is looking to appoint a Design Technology Teacher to join their high-achieving department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced DT specialists.

• Teach a range of DT subjects including Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, and Engineering at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and technical skills

• Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop environment, supporting students in the use of tools and equipment

• Contribute to the development of an exciting DT curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities such as clubs, competitions, and exhibitions

• Work closely with a supportive team of specialists and technicians

• Location: Levenshulme, South Manchester

• Start Date: September 2025
