Job summary

TeacherActive is proud to partner with secondary schools in the Nottingham area seeking a confident and adaptable DT Teacher. The role is day-to-day initially with the possibility of long-term opportunities, teaching Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4 with engaging lessons and strong classroom management.

The successful candidate will have QTS with a Design and Technology specialism (ECTs welcome) and proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school, across KS3 and KS4.

Job description

TeacherActive is proud to be working with secondary schools in the Nottingham area who are looking for a confident and adaptable DT Teacher. The schools provide supportive learning environments where staff are committed to maintaining high expectations and helping pupils engage positively with their education.

The DT Teacher will initially work on a day-to-day basis, with the possibility of long-term opportunities. The successful applicant will teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons while maintaining excellent classroom management and supporting pupils to make strong progress.

The successful DT Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Design and Technology specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Design and Technology within a UK secondary school
• Experience teaching students across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
