We are seeking a Design Technology Teacher at a high-achieving secondary school in Salford, Greater Manchester. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that develop students' creativity and technical skills in design, engineering, and manufacturing. Your main duties will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to all students, ensuring their progress and attainment.
• Teaching a range of design technology subjects, potentially including Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, and Electronics.
• Inspiring students to explore and develop their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and technical skills.
• Providing a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to health and safety regulations in workshops and classrooms.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, offering constructive feedback, and supporting their academic and personal growth.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement the curriculum, schemes of work, and teaching resources.
• Contributing to extracurricular activities and school events, such as design competitions and workshops.
• Building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive and collaborative community.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, innovative, and dedicated, with excellent subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire students. A background in design technology or engineering, along with teaching experience, is essential.
