Are you a creative and dedicated Design Technology teacher ready for a new challenge? A secondary school in Dudley is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team from June 2025 until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage KS3 and KS4 learners in a well-resourced department with a strong reputation for practical and project-based learning.
You’ll be delivering engaging and hands-on lessons in Resistant Materials, Product Design, and Graphics, following existing schemes of work and contributing to curriculum planning where appropriate. The department is equipped with modern tools and resources, allowing you to deliver exciting, practical content to a range of learners. You’ll also support pupils through GCSE coursework and ensure they’re well-prepared for final assessments.
You’ll be a qualified teacher (QTS or ECT) with experience teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4. You should have strong classroom management skills and a passion for practical, design-led education. A specialism in Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Graphics is desirable, and you should be confident leading both theory and practical sessions.
