Supply Design Technology Teacher, Stoke-on-Trent

Academics are actively seeking enthusiastic and experienced secondary Design Technology Teachers for short-term, long-term, and weekly supply assignments within our partner secondary schools and academies in Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-under-Lyme after the Easter holidays.

Whether you are interested in long-term contracts or weekly supply roles, at Academics we tailor the job search to your preferences. Our opportunities offer flexibility in working days and are especially suitable for Design Technology Early Career Teachers (ECTs), often leading to longer-term or permanent positions.

We welcome applications from Design Technology Teachers with specialisms in Food and Nutrition, Textiles, Resistant Materials, or Product Design.

• Have UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS or QTLS).
• Be familiar with the National Curriculum and Design Technology programmes of study.
• Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire positive learning attitudes.
• Be adaptable to new school environments and a good team player.
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one (cost applicable).

Your daily rate will depend on experience, qualifications, the length of the supply assignment, and the current client rate.
