Job summary

Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in Brackley is seeking an experienced Design Team Leader to lead the in-house creative visual design team. You will manage end-to-end graphic design, mentoring designers and ensuring outputs reflect the Mercedes-Benz and Team Brand identities across branding, digital, print and signage.

The role demands strong leadership, a track record of delivering high-impact visuals, and the ability to coordinate with stakeholders across Marketing, Partnerships and Internal

Qualifications

• Background in graphic design, digital content, brand or another relevant creative discipline.
• Experience within a creative agency, in-house studio or multidisciplinary creative environment.
• Experience across digital content and digital-first creative delivery.
• Exposure to events, experiential design, hospitality, interiors or physical environments.
• Experience managing external creative agencies, suppliers and production partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver graphic designs and creative output for internal and external stakeholders (Marketing, Partners, Commercial, Internal Departments).
• Work with Head of Design to ensure brand translation across output.
• End-to-end management of the in-house creative visual design team.
• Mentor team members and develop team capability.
• Translate brand identity into graphic and digital design output.
• Oversee design team workflow and briefs from stakeholders; deliver from concept to final artwork.
• Ensure designs align with Mercedes-Benz Brand, Team Brand Identity and Partnership Guidelines.
• Bring creativity and innovation; enable the team to deliver engaging visuals, digital material, presentations, signage, and print materials.
• Manage production and ordering processes to meet deadlines, standards, and cost.

This role would lead and manage the design team delivering creative and graphics for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team.We’re looking for a multidisciplinary Designer and Manager with a strong portfolio and extensive experience of delivering engaging and creative solutions for all aspects of design, including but not limited to branding, illustrations, digital, print and signage.Extensive experience in managing multi-disciplinary design teams, mentoring and maximising best in class creative talent.Working closely with the Head of Design, you will help ensure our creative output consistently reflects the Mercedes-Benz brand, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS identity, our values and ambition.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for delivering graphic designs and creative output for all internal and external stakeholders (Marketing, Partners, Commercial, Internal Departments).Working closely with the Head of Design to ensure the brand and design direction translates into all design output.End to end management and responsibility of the Mercedes F1 in-house creative visual design team.Responsible for mentoring team members and developing the capability of the design team.
